CHARLOTTE, N.C -- Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police detectives are investigating a stabbing that happened in north Charlotte.

Police said after two men showed up at CMC-University early Tuesday morning, one with a life-threatening stab wound was transferred to CMC-Main. The other man had minor injuries.

Investigators believed the stabbing happened around midnight Tuesday at an apartment on Roundstone Way near Reames Road. Officers told NBC Charlotte the men were fighting over a woman.

No arrests had been made as of 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.
