CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- There are three new additions to the latest restaurant report card.

None of these places have been highlighted before, but their grades this week warranted Consumer Reporter Bill McGinty to take a look at what’s happening in their kitchens.

First up this week, a place called Your Pie. The pizza place got a health grade of 86 in their first appearance on a restaurant report card, which is a mid-level B. The grade comes after a health inspector saw an employee handling food after using the cash register, but not washing hands in between. Good, thorough, and often are some of the rules for hand washing.

Additionally, the inspector found stickers and sticker residue on pans as well as food temperature issues meaning some of their cold food, wasn’t cold enough.

Next up, Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen on University Center.

This restaurant is featured due to an employee washing their hands for less than 8 seconds. The rule is 15 seconds with warm water and soap. Another employee was seen handling trash, then wiped gloved hands on clothing and continued working with food.

Additionally, some of their plates, bowls, and utensils had food debris on them. Their grade here at cheddar’s? An 84.5, a mid-level B.

Last up, Gleiberman’s Kosher Mart on International Drive. An employee was seen soaping their hands in the veggie prep sink. Certain sinks are for certain things. Additionally, a band saw was dirty and needed to be rewashed. Hummus wasn’t dated, and neither was containers of mashed potatoes and the brisket was several days old. All were tossed out. The grade here this week? An 86, a B.
