CONCORD, N.C. -- Concord Police arrested two people in connection with possessing "CBD" oil.
Police say with the exception of certain medicinal uses, "CBD" oil is illegal to possess or sell.
On Thursday, officers served a search warrant at Dream Tobacco and Vapes on Concord Parkway South and seized over 300 bottles labeled as "CBD" oil.

The employee of the business, Najmaldin Mudhish Gobah, was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver Schedule VI (Marijuana).

The investigation led to another search at a different Dream Tobacco and Vapes on Roxie Street. The search of the second location led to seizing another dozen bottles labeled as 'CBD' oil. The business owner, Fuad Alshaibi, was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver Schedule VI (Marijuana).
Police warn people that the vaping oil, at times, has been found to be laced with cocaine, heroin and fentanyl.
