Million dollar Powerball ticket sold in Gaston County

Someone in Gaston County matched all five white balls on the ticket. That lucky person will now be one million dollars richer. The thing is, they haven't claimed their prize yet.

LOWELL, North Carolina — You still have a chance to take home the Powerball jackpot, which is now at $750 million with no winners Saturday night.

The next drawing is Wednesday.

But if you purchased your last ticket in Gaston County, you might want to double check the numbers.

Someone in Gaston County matched all five white balls on the ticket. That lucky person will now be one million dollars richer.

The ticket itself was sold at the Lowell Mini Mart on McAdenville Road, but the jury is still out on where the winner is.

They haven't come forward yet to claim their money.

The lucky ticket beat odds of 1 in 11.7 million, according to NC Education Lottery officials.

Winners have 180 days from the drawing to claim their prize.

Another million dollar ticket was sold in South Carolina -- but no word yet on where that happened.
