The team needed $20,000 to pay for championship rings after winning the school's first state title in 64 years.

They went on WPEG Power 98 to talk about it. That's when a Carolina Panther came through, big time.

According to a Facebook post by radio host Jessica Williams, linebacker Thomas Davis said he would pay for the rings. Williams thanked Davis for all he and his wife do for the community.
