CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Federal Aviation Administration issued a ground stop for Charlotte Douglas International Airport Sunday morning.

According to Charlotte Douglas International Airport's twitter, flights were landing but no flights were leaving the airport. "The ground stop was issued due to weather conditions. Customers are reminded to check with their airline regarding the status of their flight before heading to the Airport."
