CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A former member of the Carolina Panthers was suspended fom his job as an assistant high school coach after he was arrested over the weekend.
Frank Garcia, a former offensive lineman for the Panthers, was charged with misdemeanor assault on a female, officials say.
Charlotte Catholic High School sent a letter to parents Monday, December 10 notifying them of the arrest and suspension, saying Garcia will not be coaching in the upcoming NC 3A championship game.
