CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Former Panthers coach John Fox has listed his Quail Hollow home for sale for $6.5 million.
The home backs up to the 14th Fairway where the Wells Fargo Championship will be played this week. Fox and his wife lived in the home during his nine years of coaching the Carolina Panthers.
The two story 14,866 square foot home has six bedrooms and includes a wine cellar, outdoor kitchen and nanny/guest quarters. Fox first listed the home for sale last summer for $7 million.
Mecklenburg County property tax records show he and his wife purchased the home in 2006 for $2.1 million. Tax records appear to show the home was demolished in 2007 and the couple rebuilt.
