CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Carolina Panthers star tight end Greg Olsen left Sunday's game after hurting his foot.

Olsen left in the second quarter against the Dallas Cowboys.

Olsen, who is in his 12th year in the NFL, left the game after hauling in two receptions for 33 yards. He suffered a foot injury in Week 2 of last season that landed him on injured reserve.

Team officials did not say when Olsen is expected to return.
