CHARLOTTE, N.C. — For the second-straight day in NFL free agency, the Carolina Panthers focused on the offensive line.
The team re-signed tackle Daryl Williams to a one-year deal on Wednesday, reportedly for $7 million.
The move brings back Williams, who will be 27 in late August, for a fifth year with the franchise that drafted him in the 4th round of the 2015 NFL Draft.
Williams played just one game in 2018 after dislocating his knee cap and injuring his MCL in training camp, and then re-injuring his knee in Week 1 against Dallas.
On Tuesday, the Panthers signed free agent center Matt Paradis to deal reportedly for 3 years, $27 million.
