Mostly cloudy skies will remain overnight, keeping lows fairly mild, in the middle 40s. Rain arrives late tonight, so if you have plans early Saturday morning, there could be a few showers out there, but widespread rain is expected by Saturday evening into Sunday morning. Highs on Saturday, even with the rain and clouds, will still be in the upper 50s. Temperatures will drop big time Sunday. Highs will likely be near 50° in the morning, dropping throughout the day. With the colder air moving in, the mountains even have a chance for a light rain to snow changeover, but not a lot is expected at this time.

Behind this system, temperatures will plummet! Highs on MLK Jr. Day will likely stay in the 30's and lows will start off around 20°. The good news... Highs return to normal again the middle of next week as another round of rain rolls in.

Looking Ahead: The 6-10 Day Outlook is trending below average where we will likely end the month of January in the 40's for daytime highs.

Have a great weekend!
