In the 80s by the end of the upcoming weekend

CHARLOTTE, N.C. —

Today

Sunny across the area today with highs in the low 70s and in the mid 70s east and southeast of Charlotte.  Tonight will be mostly clear and not as cold, with temperatures falling into the low 50s.

Wednesday

Look for a mix of clouds and sunshine with highs in the mid 70s.  There's a slight chance of a few isolated showers.  Temperatures overnight will again fall into the low 50s, with light winds.

Thursday and Friday

Both days will be mostly sunny and pleasant with highs in the mid 70s.  Lows at night will be in the mid 50s.  Winds across the area will be northeasterly around 5 to 10 mph.

. Pollen Report

Tree pollen is the main cause of high pollen levels for mid-April before these numbers eventually taper off by mid-late May.

Pollen levels are topping the charts after a brief dip over the weekend due to persistent rainfall. Take the pollen forecast into consideration as you make plans to be outside.
