Abundant sunshine, much warmer across the Charlotte area

Highs will approach the low 80s by Easter Sunday.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. —

Tonight

After a pleasant day with highs in the upper 60s, sky conditions will remain mostly clear overnight with a light breeze. Lows will drop to the upper 30s across the Charlotte metro with a few spots in the mid 30s in our outlying communities. Due to winds, however, frost is not expected.

Friday

Skies will be sunny with highs reaching into the low 70s. This will be a delightful day and winds will even lighter than Thursday! Look for a clear sky overnight and a low in the mid 40s.

This Weekend

Saturday will be mostly sunny and even warm with highs in the mid 70s. Skies will be clear overnight with lows in the mid 50s.

Unseasonably warm weather continues Sunday with a high temperature forecast around 81 degrees. This wouldn't be the first 80°+ day of the year so far but it would be the first potential stretch of 80 degrees for more than one day...

Next Week & Pollen Forecast

Highs Monday and Tuesday will linger near 83 degrees and 80 degrees respectfully. Because of this stretch of highs significantly warmer than normal, the pollen count will steadily increase heading into this weekend and early next week!
