ATLANTA — We end the week with a dry day. No rain expected this afternoon. Rain chances will go up for the weekend and next weekend.

Saturday: Mix of sun and clouds with a 30% chance for showers. High of 86.
Sunday: Partly to mostly cloudy. 30% chance for showers. High of 87.
Drier air settled in to north Georgia and metro Atlanta. We'll hang on to a fairly pleasant forecast for the last day of the work week. The air will still be relatively dry and won't be too muggy with slightly drier air in place.
The rain chance will increase over the weekend with rising humidity levels. Rain chances are up to 30-40% and will remain there as we move into next week. Temperatures will be just below average. It won't be a total rain out. These will just be some scattered showers that develop in the afternoon and evening. There will be a lot of dry hours over the weekend, too. We will move up to 86 Saturday and 87 Sunday.
Rain chances go down a little Monday to 20%. It goes back up to a 30 to 40% chance Tuesday and Wednesday. Rain chance are a little higher for the end of the week. Temperatures look to be near average. It looks like we will stay below the 90 degree mark for the week.
