Huge cigarette trafficking ring busted in NC
The massive cigarette trafficking ring spanned five states. Police say buyers would purchase cartons of cigarettes in NC where the taxes are relatively low. Then, those cigarettes would be shipped up to NY, where the taxes are much higher.
