CMS cancels classes on May 1 for statewide teacher rally in Raleigh
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools Superintendent Dr. Clayton Wilcox announced Thursday that May 1 will be an optional teacher workday after hundreds of teachers requested the day off for a rally planned in Raleigh.
