FORT MILL, S.C. – In what might be the most surprising thing you’ll read this week, someone’s winning Powerball ticket is about to expire.
The winning ticket, which is worth $50,000, was sold at Millers Product in Fort Mill on August 12 of last year. According to South Carolina Education Lottery officials, if the prize isn’t claimed by 4 p.m. February 8, the winnings will be deposited into a fund that supports educational programs across the state.
The winning numbers on the ticket were: 20 24 26 35 49 and the Powerball was 19.
South Carolina Education Lottery would like to remind all players that you have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim your prize. Click here for more information on how to claim lottery prizes.
