Fort Mill church damaged by fire late Sunday evening

The cause of the fire has not been released.

FORT MILL, S.C. — The Unity Presbyterian Church in Fort Mill, S.C. was damaged by a fire late Sunday evening, December 9.

The fire damaged the building behind the historic sanctuary. It might have damaged the library, classrooms and Unity Hall as well, according to the interim senior minister, Mark Diehl.

Damage to the building from the fire and water used to put it out have not yet been determined.

The cause of the fire has not been released.
