Authorities believe the shooting happened at a different location on Adnah Church Road, closer to Highway 161, and the victim was driven to the place where he was found by a state trooper.

The sheriff told NBC Charlotte the suspects were young white males. One was tall with long hair and wearing a red hoodie and black toboggan. The other was shorter with short hair, wearing a blue shirt and carrying a white Nike bag.
