BURKE COUNTY, N.C. -- The Burke County Sheriff's office is asking for the public's help to find a missing child.
Investigators said Haylee Lasha Jones ran away from home on April 10. She was last seen on Conley Road in Morganton wearing a red t-shirt, blue jeans and a ball cap. Jones is 5’3”, 198 lbs. with brown eyes and short black hair.
Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 828-438-5500 or Morganton/Burke Crimestoppers at 828-437-3333.
Crimestoppers tips are anonymous. Information leading to the location of Jones may earn the tipster a cash reward.
