CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Parts of South Tryon Street near uptown Charlotte were shut down for several hours before reopening due to repairs, according to utility officials Wednesday night.
Charlotte Water tweeted a little before 4 p.m. that one of the lanes in the 2200 block of South Tryon Street near Remount Road were closed for several hours.
Officials did not say what caused the water service break.
