An 18-wheeler sent shoppers scurrying and damaged several cars, ending in the parking lot of an Aldi.
Shelves were breaking and glass was shattering in the store as the wreck occurred. Some frightened customers left the store to find that their cars had been damaged or totaled.
Salisbury Fire officials say the multiple vehicle accident ended in the 900 block of West Jake Alexander Boulevard.
