CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Myles Harris joined the WCNC team as a multimedia journalist in 2023 and is excited to report news in the Queen City!
Myles comes from his hometown, Columbus, where he was a multimedia journalist sharing impactful stories with the community. You may recognize him from his viral video of his mom driving up on him during a report.
Myles is a graduate of Wright State University, where he played Division I tennis while majoring in mass communications. During his senior year, Myles co-hosted a radio show called the “Raider Sports Scene,” which is where he grew a passion for media.
Following graduation, Myles started at ABC6 in production and learned the ropes of working in the newsroom. Over time, he assisted with high school football coverage and worked as the sideline reporter for Friday Night Rivals on the CW Columbus.
Myles takes pride in being a people person and has a strong passion for connecting people and their communities with stories.
Some of Myles’ hobbies include playing tennis, exercising, cycling, and watching sports with friends and cheering on the Buckeyes on Saturdays.
