Potato Greens Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 bunch Potatoes Greens (chopped)
  • 1 small green bell pepper chopped
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 1 Habanero pepper (whole)
  • 1/2 cup red palm oil
  • 1 cup brown rice already cook
  • Chicken breast cut into bite pieces
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 table spoon MaMa Africa Seasoning sold locally at:

Cook time: 30 minutes

Directions:

Turn heat to high

In a deep pot, add water chopped greens, chopped peppers, onions, chicken and seasoning. Cover and let cook for 15 minutes.

Turn heat to mid-high, add whole pepper. Cover and let cook for another 10 minutes.

Turn heat to low. Add oil, stir up greens, leave uncovered cooking for another 5 minutes or until water has simmered deep into greens.

Take off heat, add your desired portion over a plate of brown rice and enjoy!
