OMB – Ballantyne

Charlotte’s Olde Mecklenburg Brewery may soon get hundreds of new customers. Olde Mecklenburg Brewery will start pouring beers at its second location this spring at Northwood Investors' new mixed-use development. This will be Ballantyne's first brewery. The two-story brewery and 1-acre beer garden will host OMB's popular events, such as Mecktoberfest and the Christmas Market.

OMB is located in the Bowl in Ballantyne, a 20-minute drive south of Uptown. The Bowl is bound to make the golf course community feel hipper with tenants like OMB and Flower Child.

At the heart of The Bowl, Bowl Street is a stretch of closed-off road providing a culinary epicenter for visitors with a wide variety of food + drink options — all within walking distance. Chock full of nourishing goodness our made-from-scratch menu caters to all lifestyles from vegetarian and vegan, to meat-eating and gluten-free to keto and paleo. Memorial Day Ceremony 2024

Monday, May 27 | 10 a.m.-12 p.m. | Gethsemane Cemetery and Memorial Gardens, 504 W. Sugar Creek Rd., Charlotte | Free | Gold Star wife and author Krista Rystrom Emmert will speak at this tribute honoring fallen members of the US Armed Forces + a special presentation by the CMPD Honor Guard.

Memorial Day Ceremony — Fort Mill

Monday, May 27 | 10 a.m. | Unity Cemetery, 303 Tom Hall St., Fort Mill | Free | Fort Mill Mayor Guynn Savage will lead a ceremony followed by a program from American Legion Post 43 — including Posting of Colors, Laying of the Wreath, Rifle Volley, Taps, and Retirement of Colors.

Memorial Day Ceremony — Huntersville

Monday, May 27 | 11 a.m. | Veterans Park, 201 Huntersville-Concord Rd., Huntersville | Free | The Town of Huntersville and American Legion Post 321 will conduct a ceremony honoring fallen members of the US Armed Forces.
