20+ Charlotte restaurants open for Thanksgiving

If you're looking for a great Thanksgiving meal without cooking and cleaning, we've got you covered.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — If cooking dinner doesn’t sound like a holiday to you here’s a list of Charlotte area restaurants open on Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 28th, 2019. Most of these restaurants have special Thanksgiving meals. Many will fill up early, so make sure to make reservations right away. There are a few takeout options included in this list as well.

These restaurants are in all price ranges. We’ve abandoned our “cheap stuff only” rule for this list. If you’re expecting “on the cheap” options, some won’t fit the bill! But if you value not cooking and cleaning enough, and just want to spend time with family, maybe you won’t mind splurging.

Charlotte restaurants open on Thanksgiving

204 North: Opening at 11 a.m. Call 704.333.3747 or visit their website to make your reservation. 

5Church: Offers a pre-fixe, three course Thanksgiving menu with both traditional and chef-inspired options. $48 per adult and $20 for children under 12. 

Amelie’s French Bakery: The main location, at 2424 North Davidson, is open 24 hours a day, every day. They serve sandwiches and salads, as well as treats and desserts. It’s not a Thanksgiving meal but you can count on them being open.

Angeline’s: Serving a three-course family-style dinner with Italian inspired options. 10% of the proceeds will go toward No Kid Hungry, a nonprofit working to end childhood hunger. $55 for adults, $25 for children ages 5 to 12, and free for children under 5. 

The Asbury: Seatings at 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. Serving a three-course pre-fixe meal with family-style sides featuring a traditional Thanksgiving menu with southern favorites. $55 for adults, $25 for children ages 6 to 10, and free for children ages five and under. 

Bistro La Bon: Offering a Thanksgiving brunch from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Reservations only. $37 for adults and $16 for children ages 5 to 10. 

Bob Evans: Order a holiday feast to bring home, with options including a premium farmhouse feast, a farmhouse feast for eight, and farmhouse feast for four.

Boston Market: Dine-in and enjoy a Thanksgiving meal. There are also a variety of heat ‘n’ serve options to bring the feast home. You can get the hot ‘n’ ready catering option, and also individual items like pies and sides.

Buca di Beppo: There are several ways to enjoy the traditional Thanksgiving meal, including dine-in, to-go, and catering.

The Capital Grille – Charlotte: Alongside their full dinner menu, they’ll be offering their Executive Chef’s take on Thanksgiving favorites.

Charlotte Douglas International Airport – 1897 Market (Atrium): A special Thanksgiving special of smoked turkey, cornbread stuffing, sweet potato hash, cran-apple relish, and turkey gravy. It also offers travelers in a hurry a Thanksgiving sandwich perfect to grab and take to the flight. The made-to-order special Smoked Turkey Sandwich comes with braised cranberry and Havarti cheese on sourdough.

Charlotte Douglas International Airport – Brookwood Farms BBQ (Atrium):  Southern Classic Thanksgiving – Smoked Turkey Legs with cornbread stuffing, biscuits, and gravy.

Coco and The Director: Purchase a ticket for breakfast with Santa and also receive a VIP ticket in the performance area for the Novant Health Thanksgiving Day Parade. Breakfast includes your choice of a breakfast sandwich, side of fruit or yogurt, non-alcoholic beverage, and a photo with Santa. Tickets are $35. 

Cracker Barrel: Heat ‘n’ serve Thanksgiving meal to go. Two oven roasted turkey breasts and al the fixings for up to 10 people. Includes dessert. Price TBD. Order at least 24 hours in advance. Can be picked up November 17-25. There’s also an option to pick up a hot meal.

Eddie V’s: Serving a traditional holiday dinner with all the trimmings from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Adults $43, children $15. Their full dinner menu will also be available.

Edgewater Bar & Grille: Located inside the Hilton at University Place. Serving a Thanksgiving buffet. More details to come soon. 

Fleming Steakhouse: Serving a classic Thanksgiving feast starting from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Their full dinner menu will also be available. $45 for adults, $22 for children.

The Foundry at Trilogy Lake Norman: Thanksgiving buffet will be available at the Foundry on November 28th from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Please call the concierge desk at 704.585.8780 for reservations. To enjoy this meal, adults are $39, Children 6-12 are $15, and Children 3-5 are $7.

Fish Market: Serving a family style traditional Thanksgiving feast with turkey, ham, and all the fixings. 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Call for prices. 

The Foundry at Trilogy Lake Norman: Thanksgiving buffet will be available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Please call 704.585.8780 for reservations. $39 for adults, $15 for children ages 6 -12, and $7 for children ages 3 -5.  

Golden Corral: Their Thanksgiving buffet includes carved turkey, fried chicken, rotisserie chicken, ham, meatloaf, and much more.

Harper’s South Park: Serving traditional, hand carved options, homemade sides, and desserts from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. $32 for adults and $15 for children 12 and under. 

Macaroni Grill: Serving a special Thanksgiving menu alongside their regular menu. $24.99 for adults and $12 for children. You can also order a Thanksgiving meal for up to 10 people to-go. 

Maggiano’s SouthPark: Enjoy an Italian-American Thanksgiving dinner.

Mimosa Grill: Serving a Thanksgiving menu from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. $48.95 for adults and $19.95 for children under 12. 

New South Kitchen & Bar: Traditional Thanksgiving Day buffet featuring deep fried turkey, prime rib, cornbread stuffing, desserts, salads and all the trimmings.

RiRa Irish Pub: Open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. with their regular menu.  

Pilot Brewing: SkyView 22 Catering will be serving a classic Thanksgiving dinner on November 28th. Pilot Brewing’s owners will be working the bar and donating all tips to Urban Ministry Center. The menu includes a choice of meat plus four sides. Tickets can be purchased through Eventbrite or in-person at the brewery any time before November 25th. Dinner plus 2 beers is $27. Dinner plus one non-alcoholic drink is just $19.

Red Rocks Cafe: Offering their annual Thanksgiving Day brunch buffet. More details coming soon. 

Ruth’s Chris Steak House: Select locations open at 12 p.m. 3 course dinner $41.95. Kids menu: $14.95

Sullivan’s Steakhouse: Serving a classic Thanksgiving feast with roasted turkey, sweet potato casserole, bread pudding, and more. The three course prix-fixe dinner is $42 for adults and $20 for children, but you can also order one of their usual items off a limited menu. 

Stoke: Chef Groody will be creating a four course meal for you and your family at $60 for adults, $25 for kids under 10, FREE for kids under 3. Reservations are strongly recommended as we will quickly fill up for our three seating times; 12 noon, 2:30 p.m., and 5:00 p.m.

Ted’s Montana Grill: Many menu items are available, including a special Thanksgiving Roast Turkey Feast for $29, which includes side salad or cup of soup or chili, roast turkey and gravy with garlic mashed potatoes, herb dressing, carrots, “Aunt Fannie’s” squash casserole, cranberry sauce, and Apple Pecan Crisp.

Upstream: Offering a Thanksgiving buffet from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. $42.95 for adults and $14.95 for children 12 and under. 

The Willow Creek Inn: Seatings at 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. $35 per person, children under 12 half price, and no charge for children under 6. Reservations required.
