CALDWELL COUNTY, N.C. — A man has been arrested and charged with murder after officers responded to a shooting call in Caldwell County, officials confirm.
On June 22 around 7:24 p.m., Caldwell County deputies responded to a shooting in the 5600 block of Anthony Creek Road in the Globe Community of Caldwell County.
After they arrived, deputies found Larry Milton Gragg, 55, deceased.
As a result of the investigation by Caldwell County investigators, Richard Lee Crump, 56, was arrested and charged with murder.
He was placed in the Caldwell County Detention Center with no bond.
The investigation is still ongoing, officials say.
