1 person hospitalized after south Charlotte shooting, Medic says

The shooting happened late Thursday afternoon.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — One person is suffering from life-threatening injuries after a shooting late Thursday afternoon, according to Medic.

The shooting happened on Shadow Elm Drive in south Charlotte. The victim was taken to Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center. 

The victim's identity is unknown at this time and it is unclear if police have made any arrests concerning this shooting.
