Police conduct death investigation in southeast Charlotte

The identity of the victim has not been made public.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department investigated a death that occurred at a 7-11 in southeast Charlotte on Wednesday night. Officials later concluded the man died by suicide.

No further information has been released at this time and the identity of the victim is unknown.
