CASAR, N.C. — A Cleveland County man is in jail without bond after being arrested for allegedly shooting and killing two people.
On Monday, Jan. 8, the Cleveland County Sheriff's Office responded to a shooting on
Casar Road.
Deputies found two people who had been shot and were dead inside a car at the home they were called to.
While at the scene, deputies received another call about the location of the suspect on Oakgrove-Cloverhill Church Road. Deputies found Thomas Gene Eaker at the home. Eaker was arrested and charged with the two shootings.
The victims have been identified as Laurie Ann Marks and Kimberly Renee McNeilly, both of Casar, North Carolina.
This incident remains under investigation.
