YORK COUNTY, S.C. -- The man accused of shooting and killing a man in Fort Mill has been arrested according to authorities.
Authorities arrested Jackel Marquise Clinton, 22, Saturday morning on charges of murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
Clinton is currently being held at the Fort Mill Police Department and was denied bond on both charges.
The Fort Mill Police Department responded to a call of a shooting near Sanders Street and Tom Hall Street. Upon arrival, officers found a man, later identified as 20-year-old Damon Davis, with an apparent gunshot wound.
Davis was later pronounced dead.
