CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools will resume classes on regular schedule on Monday, Oct. 15.
All CMS schools will be open for all students and staff after Duke Energy restored power to the 32 facilities that lost power due to Tropical Storm Michael.
In a press release, CMS thanked families, student and staff for focusing on safety while classes were canceled and Duke Energy employees for working "tirelessly."
