CATS bus crash injures 2 people

One of the bus passengers was taken to the hospital for evaluation.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A car hit the right side of a CATS bus, causing two people to be hurt.

One of the bus passengers was taken to the hospital for evaluation after the car hit bus 1013, according to a spokesperson for CATS.

It happened at the intersection of Monroe Road and Fox Run Drive around 10 a.m. on Sunday.

The bus has minor damages as a result of the crash.

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is overseeing the investigation.
