CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Carowinds' Carolina Harber Waterpark opens May 25 as the Carolinas' No. 1 theme park officially kicks off its summer season.

The waterpark has a 3-acre children's area with playgrounds and water jets. Complimentary life jackets are available throughout the park for guests.

Admission to Carolina Harbor is included with all tickets to Carowinds.

New in 2024, Carolina Harbor upgraded high-traffic walkways with "cool deck" concrete technology to provide a more comfortable walking experience.

The park also added a new bar across from Boogie Board Racer where guests 21 and older can enjoy frozen adult beverages.

Carolina Harbor will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. over Memorial Day weekend. In honor of Memorial Day, Carowinds will give free admission to active and retired U.S. military members with a valid military ID.
