Fast food fiasco: Brawl at Charlotte Burger King caught on camera

Rebecca Ramsey says she was going through the drive-through to get her 6-year-old an ice cream cone. A full-on brawl was the last thing she expected to see.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A mother with her young son in the car recorded a video that reportedly shows employees at the Burger King on Nations Ford Road in Charlotte throwing punches and screaming obscenities.

Rebecca Ramsey says she was going through the drive-through Sunday night to get her 6-year-old an ice cream cone.

A full-on brawl was the last thing she expected to see.

“You would think that these are people who are employees and are supposed to act professional, especially when children come through the drive-through and everything," one customer said Tuesday.

Burger King corporate told NBC Charlotte in a statement:

"The behavior demonstrated on the video does not reflect our brand values and is unacceptable.  As soon as the owner of this location was made aware of this incident, the franchise owner terminated the team members who were involved. In addition, the owner will have all employees complete supplementary guest experience training."

NBC Charlotte checked with police to see if any assault charges were filed, but have not heard back at this time.
