Many cars at local Honda dealership vandalized, wheels stolen

Union County Sheriff’s Deputies are conducting a significant larceny and vandalism investigation at Metro Honda in Indian Trail after multiple wheels and tires were stolen overnight from cars parked on the dealership lot.

INDIAN TRAIL, N.C. - Union County Sheriff’s Deputies are conducting a significant larceny and vandalism investigation at Metro Honda in Indian Trail after multiple wheels and tires were stolen Monday night from cars parked on the dealership lot.

Deputies responded to the call on Tuesday morning concerning a large number of vehicles with shattered windows, as well as complete sets of wheels stolen from several new cars.

Estimates of the total cost of damages caused are still being calculated.

Deputies are requesting anyone with information concerning these vandalism and larceny cases to contact Tony Underwood of the Union County Sheriff’s Office at 704-292-2707. To call in anonymously, people with information can call Union County Crimestoppers at 704-283-5600.
