Missing teen may be in Charlotte, deputies say

William Johnson was last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt and blue sweatpants. Deputies say he may have left for the Charlotte area.

CABARRUS COUNTY, N.C. — Deputies in Cabarrus County are asking for the public's help finding a 13-year-old who may be in Charlotte. 

William Jeremie Johnson was last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt, blue Adidas sweatpants and carrying a black backpack. Johnson is described as a Black male and is approximately 5 feet, 6 inches tall. He weighs approximately 130 pounds, according to the Cabarrus County Sheriff's Office

Johnson was reported missing on Monday, April 22. 

Investigators believe Johnson may have left toward the Charlotte area but haven't released any details on what part of town he may be in. Anyone with information about William Johnson's whereabouts is asked to call 704-920-3000.
