Puma, Foot Locker unveiling new court at east Charlotte YMCA

The new court will open on Saturday, Jan. 13.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte residents will soon be able to get on a new court refurbished by Puma and Foot Locker.

The two companies are crafting the new court at the Simmons YMCA on Democracy Drive in east Charlotte. The court will be debuted on Saturday at 10 a.m.

The court is being created as part of Foot Locker's "The Heart of Sneaker" campaign along with Charlotte Hornets' star LaMelo Ball's partnership with Puma.

After the court is revealed, an NBA-style shooting and skills competition will be held with a professional dunk exhibition. An interactive fan site will also be on display with a trading card maker.
