CHARLOTTE, N.C. — We already spend a lot of time (perhaps too much, depending who you ask) at work. But how much time do we waste just getting ready for the office?
According to a new survey, the average person will spend three months of their life primping for work. As you might expect, most of that time is spent in the bathroom.
Men surveyed said they spend about 23 minutes getting ready each day, while women spent, on average, 29 minutes prepping.
Husbands and boyfriends were rated as the most annoying people to share a bathroom with, according to 29% of those polled.
Oh, and the secret's out. One in six people said they've gone into the bathroom to hide for some "peace and quiet."
