Amber Alert canceled for Raleigh child

The alert said she was believed to be with her father at the time. WRAL News reports the girl's father is facing several charges.

RALEIGH, N.C. — The Harnett County Sheriff's Office has canceled an Amber Alert for a 2-year-old girl that was issued earlier in the day Thursday.

The alert for the toddler was issued around 8 a.m. and said the girl was likely with her father at the time.

Just before 12:30 p.m., a notice was shared statewide that the alert was canceled. However, further details about the investigation were not immediately known nor shared.

WCNC Charlotte's news partner WRAL News reports the girl's father, Dynasty Oneal Coleman has been charged with first-degree forcible rape, first-degree kidnapping, first-degree force sexual offense, abduction of a child, breaking and entering, assault by strangulation and assault on a female -- but that law enforcement has yet to arrest him.
