GASTONIA, N.C. — Two men were charged in connection with the shooting death of a man in Gastonia.
Police said 33-year-old Aaron Woods was charged with first-degree murder, and 22-year-old Adrian Woods was charged with accessory after the fact.
The victim, 37-year-old Jonquie Hemphill, was killed just before 7 p.m. Sunday in the 2800 block of Unity Avenue.
The suspects were taken to the Gaston County Jail.
