How to block sports betting ads on your phone: VERIFY Fact Check

Sports betting ads could be all over social media feeds, but you can limit how many show up on your phone.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Mobile sports betting officially launched in North Carolina on March 11, and thanks to a swath of commercials on TV and social media, almost everyone knows about it.

Ads for several popular sportsbooks, including FanDuel and DraftKings, have flooded everyone's feeds since North Carolina legalized online sports gambling. The ads are seemingly everywhere, with one FanDuel promo saying everyone's talking about it, mostly because it feels like you can't do anything without hearing a commercial.

But is there a way to stop all these ads?
