CHARLOTTE, N.C. (PANTHERS WIRE) -- The Panthers front office has undergone an extraordinary amount of turnover in the last calendar year.

This week, Ron Rivera’s coaching staff saw another change, with defensive backs coach Curtis Fuller abruptly resigning. When reached for comment, Rivera and general manager Marty Hurney did not offer any details.

According to a report by David Newton of ESPN, the Panthers released this statement, which says there were complaints of misconduct:

"After approaching Coach Fuller with the findings of an investigation into complaints of inappropriate conduct, we accepted his resignation. The Panthers are deeply committed to ensuring a safe, comfortable and diverse work environment where all individuals, regardless of sex, race, color, religion, gender, or sexual identity or orientation, are treated fairly and equally."

There is no word as of yet on who will replace Fuller. His resignation comes nearly five months after the team announced it would be sold amid allegations of misconduct by owner Jerry Richardson.
