How to stop comparing yourself to others

Kristy Kuhl shares advice to help you escape "the comparison trap"

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Social media makes it difficult to let go of comparison. It’s so easy to get stuck in the scroll trap and compare what we have in our own lives to those in others. Mindset and success coach Kristy Kuhl joined Charlotte Today to share why it is so important to let go of these comparisons, and how to do it.

“Catching yourself is the first step in all of this,” Kuhl says. “When that thought comes in are you just going to accept it or are you going to turn inward and look at where you are in your journey and how far you’ve come.”

It’s easier said than done, especially with social media constantly bombarding us. Everything you see is a highlight reel on social media. So just remember that as you are scrolling.

Kristy has free Coaching Segments on her podcast Keep Rising with Kristy Kuhl available wherever you access your podcasts.

She also has weekly free coaching tips that can be delivered to your inbox by subscribing to her newsletter at kristykuhl.com and of course lots of free content on IG and FB.
