Serve It Up Tennis Academy offers classes for all levels

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — May is National Tennis Month! Since the start of 2020, more than 5.9 million Americans have picked up tennis. Tennis players on average lived an additional 9.7 years than sedentary individuals and more than 5 years longer than other sports. 

Founder and CEO of Serve It Up Tennis Academy Todd Upchurch joined Charlotte Today to share more about how people can get involved in the sport. 

There is a program called 'Try Tennis' where new players can try out the sport. 

$40 Registration Fee Includes:

Adults (Ages 18+)
Players must be at least 18 years of age before the start of the first clinic in order to participate in an Adult Try Tennis® session.

  • Six+ hours with a tennis instructor

  • New, adult Dunlop tennis racket

  • Try Tennis® player gift*

Juniors (Ages 5-17)

  • Six+ hours with a tennis instructor

  • New, junior Dunlop tennis racket

  • Try Tennis® player gift*
