The "Sephora Kids" trend and how it can be harmful to their skin

Medical esthetician Danielle Simonetti from Skin by Danielle Rose shares more & products your kids can use

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — There is a new trend on TikTok and it is called "Sephora Kids" where young children are posting 'hauls' of their very expensive and large skincare routines. While using skincare products can be good for anyone, many of the products these kids are using are not for their age group and can actually be damaging their skin. Danielle Simonetti from Skin by Danielle Rose joined Charlotte Today to break down this trend.

Many young kids are seeing older influencers post their skincare and wanting to do the same thing. It is important for parents to pay attention to which products their kids are buying as many of them can cause damage to their skin barrier, dermatitis and more.

Kids can still have a skincare routine, but using products like CeraVe and Vanicream that are gentle on the skin, as well as a sunscreen.
