CMPD looking for 'armed and dangerous' suspect in teen's killing

Detectives are looking for 18-year-old Terrance Cordell McKnight Jr. in connection with the killing of Kaleb Brown on April 12.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — An 18-year-old is wanted in connection with the killing of a 17-year-old in east Charlotte last month, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police said. 

CMPD is asking for the public's help finding 18-year-old Terrence Cordell McKnight Jr. He is wanted in connection with the deadly shooting of 17-year-old Kaleb Brown on April 12. Brown was found shot to death at a home along Boswell Road, which is just off Harrisburg Road near the Charles T. Myers Golf Course. 

A 17-year-old suspect was arrested in late April in connection with the case. The teen was charged with murder, conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon and robbery with a dangerous weapon. 

Anyone with information about McKnight's whereabouts is asked to call Charlotte Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600. Detectives say he is considered armed and dangerous.
