Person shot, killed in southeast Charlotte on Halloween, police say

It's not clear when it happened, but the investigation is ongoing.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting that unfolded late Tuesday night. Police responded to the scene shortly after 10 p.m. 

An alert sent by the department to its app confirmed a male was found dead along Eaglewood Avenue, near East Mecklenburg High School. Further details, however, were not immediately available.

The victim has been identified as 22-year-old Camron Robinson.
