STATESVILLE, N.C. — Four children were in critical condition Tuesday after an accident in Statesville, police said.
It happened around 12:30 p.m. at Garner Bagnal Blvd. and Rickert St. Investigators said a car carrying five small kids pulled out in front of a semi.
Four children in the car were airlifted to Baptist hospital where they were listed in critical but stable condition.
The driver and another child in the car were treated and released from the hospital. The semi driver was not hurt.
No charges have been filed.
